Hi, Markus my Name

I am currently engaged in a PhD program at the University of Applied Science St. Pölten in cooperation with the Technical University Vienna, where I am working on a project titled Visual Heritage. A key focus of my research is "Situated Storytelling," which examines how to effectively design interactive visual storytelling techniques.

In paralell to my PhD, I continue to contribute to Fluxguide in a reduces capacity. Over the past six years, in my role as an XR/web developer and UX designer I created a number of XR application for enriching visitor experiences in museums and beyond.

With a background in Digital Media Technologies and Digital Healthcare from the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, where I specialized in Experimental Media|Art with a focus on Biofeedback and Healthcare-Applications, my professional work, academic research and art practices are closely linked, each enhancing the other in my continuous journey through digital heritage and interactive storytelling.
